千	千葉二朗 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 春は桜が咲き乱れいいですよ。これだけの桜すぽっとなのに人が少なく、めったに人に出会うこともありません。本題の古墳は、方墳ではないかと言われています。最上部の1号墳から7号墳まであり、広島県の史跡に指定されています。特に、最も大きい1号墳の石室は最も大きく、石室内の角は、よく見ると漆喰が残っており、造営当時は漆喰で塗り固められていたことが伺えます。この漆喰が『白塚』の名前の由来ともいわれています。途中道が悪いので、高級車にお乗りの場合は、途中から歩く方が良いかもしれません。 Cherry blossoms are in full bloom in spring. 松	松岡昂平 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 家の間の細い道を通り、山道に入り700メートルくらい。池の土手の所を右折すると道はさらに悪くなる。そこを400メートルほど進むと広場があり、大佐山白塚古墳の看板がある。そ看板の通り右折していくのだが、道がもう一段さらに悪くなるので、良い車は、この広場に停めて歩いていくのをおススメする。悪路を300メートルほど進むと大佐山白塚古墳の入り口につく。道のわきには、街路樹の様に桜が植えられており、春に訪れたい。そこから、東屋やベンチがある公園を通り過ぎ、白塚古墳に行く。広島県の史跡に指定されている。古墳は全部で7基あり、最上部になる古墳がメインだ。この古墳は方墳とされているが、実際ははっきり分からない。横穴式石室の状態は良く、素晴らしい石室だ。石組みの角部分に漆喰の跡が残り、中は漆喰で塗られていたことが分かる。そこから順次、山裾に向けて2号墳、3号墳となっていく。説明板も大きなものがあり、草刈もされ、綺麗に整備されている古墳だ。 Take the narrow road between the houses and enter the mountain road for about 700 meters. The side hole type stone chamber is in good condition and is a wonderful stone chamber. Stucco marks remain on the corners of the stonework, and it can be seen that the inside was painted with plaster. From there, the tombs are No. 2 and No. 3 toward the foot of the mountain. It is an old burial mound that has a large explanation board, is mowed, and is in good condition.
