桜の時期はとても綺麗です。
本殿には、通常は観れませんが大きな大仏様がいらっしゃいます。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 三輪地区は散策するのにいい感じの村里だ。中でもここ真長寺は、古い石庭が復旧されていてなかなか風情があること訪れたときはたまたま大仏も開帳されていたのでラッキーだったが、大仏を見ることができると、ますますこの寺の良さを感じることができる。

詳しめに説明してくださる方もいました。
内容は、戦国時代からここは大事な土地だった。
信長、秀吉、家康ともゆかりがあり、前2人はこの土地を召し上げてしまうほど執着、家康は安堵した。なぜか信長、秀吉、家康から第13代将軍までの位牌が並んでいる。13代までというのも引っかかるけど。写真撮影は可能。石庭も綺麗。
時間があればもう少しいたかった。
教育用としてもこの寺はDVDも出しているようでした。
肝心の御朱印もいい感じです。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 9月の最終金曜日(プレミアムフライデー)に金色の御朱印がいただけると知り、伺いました。
真長寺さんは今回(9月)から金色の御朱印を始められたばかりです。
ご本尊の木造釈迦如来坐像は平安時代後期に造られたもので、国の重要文化財に指定されています。
また、お庭がとても素晴らしく、江戸初期に龍安寺の石庭と同じ様式を用いた庭だそうです。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 岐阜の金の御朱印めぐりのパンフレットに紹介され、国内最大の釈迦如来坐像が安置されていると書かれていたので、楽しみに行った所、誰も見えなくて、全部鍵がかかっていて、何も見る事も、御朱印さえ頂く事も出来なくて、とても残念でした。せめて書き置きの御朱印で対応していただけたらと思いました。遠方から伺いました。
