★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 峠の入り口はどちらも獣除けのゲートがあります。すべて舗装されていますが、峠より北側は私が訪問した時には落ち葉や枯れ枝が散乱し、車は通れるものの倒木もあったりして、寂れた感じがありました。この道を行けば四賀や保福寺峠方面のショートカットになりますが、時間短縮目的としてはあまりお勧めできる道ではありません。山道好きや歴史を感じたい方はどうぞといった峠道です。
 Both entrances to the pass have gates to prevent beasts. Everything is paved, but when I visited the north side of the pass, fallen leaves and dead branches were scattered, and although cars could pass through, there were also fallen trees, which made me feel lonely. If you follow this road, it will be a shortcut for Shiga and Hofukuji Pass, but it is not a recommended road for the purpose of shortening the time. If you like mountain roads or want to feel the history, this is the pass.
