Nagasaka Station - Hokuto

Currently, it is an unmanned station, but once there was a green window at the manned station and the limited express "Azusa" stopped once. A monument proud of the 100th anniversary of the opening of Nagasaka Station is proudly built on the upstream platform. It is no longer an explanation as a railroad photography location, and many photographers are visiting. Kosawazawa's so-called “Nagasaka Curve” is particularly famous, but there was a case where a photographer who could not follow manners stopped the train many times, so a high fence was installed. Hino Harukata's famous shooting location allows you to take pictures of trains with cherry and Yatsugatake in the spring. It is a scenic place and has the charm that you will visit many times.

It's a quiet station. In spring, the cherry blossoms at a nearby agricultural school are beautiful. A new toilet has been built in front of the station.

On Saturday, March 27, 2021, I went to Kobuchisawa with the Seishun 18 Ticket, took the Koumi Line and Komoro train after 10 o'clock, and I haven't visited beyond Nobeyama yet, but I got off from the limited express. Many families with children got on the train, so I hurriedly got off at Kai-Oizumi Station. I walked from there to Nagasaka for about 4 hours. There was a place where Mt. Fuji could be seen beautifully near the station, and it was a wonderful view with just the right distance. I wanted to visit again. The temperature of Mt. Fuji rises and it becomes hazy in the afternoon, so you have to go out early in the morning. On the way back, I got off at Anayama station, and the cherry blossoms were in full bloom in the park in front of the station, and I had a wonderful cherry blossom viewing. The area around Nagasaka was just in full bloom and the cherry blossoms were in bloom, but it didn't seem to reach its peak. On October 18, 2020, the mountains of the Southern Alps were also whitened by snow. It snowed earlier than last year. It melted after that, but I think it will soon accumulate. Mt. Fuji has also turned white due to the snow. In the morning, many high school students get off at this station and Kobuchizawa station on the Chuo line. In the tabelog, Okina, who is ranked first in the soba restaurant ranking in Yamanashi prefecture, is on the Kaikomatake side, and Tsumugi, a French-style soba that is third in the tabelog, is on the Yatsugatake side. It seems to be in an enclosed place. I haven't visited it, but it seems that there is a Hakushu factory of Suntory's Southern Alps natural water in Kobuchisawa, so it seems that the water is also delicious. You can also see Mt. Yatsugatake and Mt. Kaikoma. There is a place where you can see Mt. Fuji from the train window between Kobuchizawa Station.

The platform is curved and the incoming trains are pretty cool. It is a station that can be said to be the entrance to Hokuto City. There are rails next to the station that I'm not using now.

With Mt. Kaikoma, Mt. Shiramine, Mt. Hoo A luxurious station where you can see the mountains that represent Japan. Recommended at dusk when the clouds spring.

It used to be a switchback station. It has been an unmanned station since 2017, but there is a ticket vending machine. Bandit Huang Soba is famous as a station soba. It is run by Ekibenya Marumasa. Because it is an unmanned station, you can get off at the station and go to eat soba noodles at the station. The station name was not decided until just before the opening, and it was called Torikubo Station until the opening.
