★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 下見谷神社(しもみたにじんじゃ)は京都府舞鶴市の西部。
京都府舞鶴市下見谷の赤岩山の南東の山麓で、岡田川支流の下見谷川上流の小丘に鎮座する神社です。
ご祭神
金山彦命
下見谷の産土神です。
神社の入り口には、岡田中一といわれる大石灯篭があり、境内には、鳥居、狛犬、本殿があります。
また、神社の隣に毘沙門堂があります。
下見谷には、日子座王伝説の後日談が伝わっているようです。

 Shimomidani Shrine is located in the western part of Maizuru City, Kyoto Prefecture.
This shrine is located at the southeastern foot of Mt. Akaiwayama in Shimomidani, Maizuru City, Kyoto Prefecture, on a small hill upstream of the Shimomidani River, a tributary of the Okada River.
Deity
Kanayamahiko
It is a local god of Shimomidani.
At the entrance of the shrine, there is a large stone lantern called Okada Nakaichi, and in the precincts there are a torii gate, a guardian dog, and a main shrine.
In addition, there is Bishamon-do next to the shrine.
In Shimomidani, it seems that a later story of the legend of King Hikoza is transmitted.
