★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 江戸川の西岸に〔熊野神社〕がある。江戸時代、熊野神社は〔おくまんさま〕とよばれ、その社前の江戸川は〔おくまんだし〕と呼ばれて徳川家の茶水として使われたという（江戸川区教育委員会）。
昭和４３年（１９６８）１０月、境内に芭蕉句碑が建てられた。
茶水汲むおくまんだしや松の花
 There is [Kumano Shrine] on the west bank of the Edogawa River. In the Edo period, Kumano Shrine was called [Okuman-sama], and the Edogawa in front of the shrine was called [Okumandashi] and was used as tea water for the Tokugawa family (Edogawa Ward Board of Education).
In October 1968, a monument was built on the grounds.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 金属製の柵で拝殿と本殿がしっかりと守られています。拝殿に向かって右側に鎮座している境内社がよく解らなかったのですが、調べてみたら水神社さまとのことでした。
The hall and main hall are securely protected with a metal fence. The prefecture company which was settled on the right side of the hall of worship did not understand well, but when I looked it was a shrine of water.
