★ ★ ★ ★ ★ かつて下館城の西城があったところです。城の空堀がありましたが、昭和３５年頃の浄水場建設時に埋められました。いまは浄水場と児童公園になっています。
 This is where the West Castle of Shimodate Castle used to be. There was an empty moat in the castle, but it was filled when the water purification plant was constructed around 1960. It is now a water purification plant and a children's park.
