★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ペリーロードを観光するときに車を駐車しました。無料で停められて歩いて５分ほどなので、大変に便利です。1月の日曜日に利用したせいか、昼前でもガラガラでした。
 I parked a car when I toured Perry Road. It is very convenient because it is about 5 minutes on foot by stopping for free. Because I used it on Sunday in January, I was rattling even before noon.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ペリーロードに近く、無料なのでおすすめです。目印は「下田公園」の看板です。但し、台数は少なめで、９時に着いたら最後の一台分にギリギリ停められました。
早めに停めた方が良さそうです。傍にトイレもあります。
It is recommended because it is close to Perry Road and free of charge. The landmark is the signboard of "Shimoda Park". However, the number was small, and when we arrived at 9 o'clock, it was stopped at the last car.
It seems better to stop early. There is also a toilet nearby.

普段は無料ですが、6月のあじさい祭り期間中は有料(500円)になります。
少々離れてはいますが、ペリーロードや下田の街散策には便利な駐車場です。
あじさい祭期間中は、午前9時から午後4時まで、駐車場から開国記念碑広場の間で、電動カートによる無料送迎を実施しています。
2020年6月訪問
ペリーロード駐車場開業に伴い、こちらの駐車場はタクシー送迎場所となっていて、駐車出来なくなっていました。
June 2019 Visit
It is usually free, but it will be charged (500 yen) during the hydrangea festival in June.
It's a little far away, but it's a convenient parking lot for exploring Perry Road and Shimoda.
During the hydrangea festival period, from 9 am to 4 pm, we offer a free transfer by electric cart between the parking lot and the National Monument Square.
Visited in June 2020
With the opening of the Perry Road parking lot, this parking lot became a taxi pickup and drop-off place and I could not park.

早い時間帯だと駐車場に入るだけでかなり待ちます。
The parking lot finally started to open 2 o'clock before closing and I could see it slowly (^ ^)
In the early hours, you just enter the parking lot and wait a long time.
