★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 投松（ねじまつ）公民館の傍に、大きな蓋のない石棺が一つ置いてあります。ここから離れた平荘湖に沈んだ古墳の石棺なのですが、江戸時代・当時の姫路城の城主が庭の池にしたいと、姫路城へ移送中ここでリタイヤしこの場に放置したとされています。相方の石棺蓋は、平荘湖の傍にある弁財天神社の境内に家形石棺の蓋として放置されています。姫路城まで運ばれていたら石棺とも知らずに庭園を見ていたのかと思うと、ここに放置されたのもまた歴史と思える史跡です。
 There is a large open sarcophagus next to the Nejimatsu Community Center. It is a sarcophagus of an ancient tomb sunk in Heiso Lake away from here, but it is said that the castle owner of Himeji Castle in the Edo period retired here and left it here while transferring to Himeji Castle if he wanted to make it a garden pond. The companion's sarcophagus lid is abandoned as a house-shaped sarcophagus lid on the grounds of the Benizaten Shrine near Lake Heiso. I wondered if I had been looking at the garden without knowing it as a sarcophagus if it had been taken to Himeji Castle, and it is a historical site that seems to have been abandoned here.
