w	woodcraft junchiハンドメイド on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ まず建物が明治時代の建物で、大津の学校を移築されたものらしく、とても味わいのある造りになっています。中にいろんな作家さんの焼き物が展示販売されていて、高価なものから、一つ百円の箸置きまでさまざまな物を購入できます。店主の芳山さんが気さくに信楽焼の歴史や、ご自身が陶芸を始められたきっかけなどを話してくださり、とても楽しく過ごせました。 First of all, the building is from the Meiji era, and it seems that the school in Otsu was relocated, and it has a very tasteful structure. There are various artists' pottery on display and for sale, and you can buy a variety of items, from expensive items to chopstick rests for 100 yen each. Y	Y Naka on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 信楽は個々の窯元を直接訪ねなくてはいけないということで、一見の旅行者にはなかなかハードルが高い。そんな中、ここは通りからも大きく「ギャラリー」「スカーレット撮影地」「お気軽にどうぞ」といった案内が見えて、入りやすかった。扉のなかもよく見えないので少しドキドキしたが、入ってみると結構広い。二階もあって、こちらのご主人の作品と、あとはいくつかの受託先の焼き物を置いているという。ご主人の作品のテイストが思いの外気に入ってどれを購入しようか迷ったが、海鼠釉はこちらのご先祖が発祥だということを伺い綺麗な青色のお皿を購入しました。 Shigaraki has to visit each kiln directly, which is quite a hurdle for travelers at first glance. Exploring the old factory building while looking at the wares was an adventure in itself. Lots of pieces to choose from, but don't miss the special room behind the register on the second floor where special pieces made by the proprietor are displayed and for sale. The wife of the owner was working the day we visited and was very friendly and talkative. I hope to visit again someday.
