Shakey's

To summarize: All you can it pizza, pasta, curry (カレーライス） and salad bar. Stay with the pizza as the rest is not that good. The dessert pizzas (brownies, marshmallow caramel, black cherries) are actually better than the savory pizzas. And you will be stuffed just trying all the different flavors of pizzas. Services could be improved but price is reasonable given the location.

Great place, others say that pizza tastes bad, but not to me, the pizza base is super thin and I enjoy all the different pizza types. The pasta was just ok, so I would stick to the pizza, but for just under 1000yen during weekdays it's a amazing deal!

Found this place by chance, after being here for 4 yrs in Japan and have been to Shibuya several times. Usually I avoid places that say American food, since I find them disappointing here in Japan. But hey I had my first experience with Shakey's in the Philippines, it was not bad at all there so why not here. Well I was impressed and disappointed at the same time. Now let back up first, and give you disclaimer. I am American Guy and prefer home cooking however at the same time I like going out to eat at new places. The Japanese might think this is great American food. It is not American food, attempt to make it like it but it is not. I make far better. Now for eating out it is not bad at all. For all you can eat Pizza, Spaghetti, Curry and Potatoes, oh and a medium American size drink (awesome) the price is excellent for here in Japan. 1209 yen is far better than most places, Which everything is expensive here. So here is my opinion now this place is ok for a budget the pizzas select may only be 3 or 4 at a time with a Japanese style to it, but hey you are in Japan. Oh and they do rotate the pizzas to give you another choice when you are ready for round 2. The potatoes are good but no special taste other than potato flavor and the dessert pizzas are a "Wow a never thought of that flavor". The spaghetti is ok no wow factor, Navy cooks make better. If you are or were in the Navy then you know what I am talking about. The Curry was by far the disappointment; curry sauce over rice. I could not find the meat. Where is the Meat, Where is a carrot, or something. All the did was mix curry mix with water and cook. Lastly you pay for your drink and all you get is one. Then it is free water all the way, not that it is bad but all you can eat should all you can drink. Shakey's is not all bad, Shibuya area is a bit pricey and touristy thanks to the movie. But for a budget it is not bad at all. It is worth a try once, and the pizzas are not bad at all. Pizza tasted: Pepperoni, Mac and cheese, Corn, Burger pizza, Johnsonville hot dog.

The pizza isn't great, but the price is fine. It gets busy, you might even have to wait. There's always a pasta dish and curry with rice also. For me the dessert pizzas were better than the standard pizzas. Would i go again, i don't think so. Certainly not bad, but not worth visiting again when there are better pizza options around

All you can eat pizza. What's not to like? The pizza itself is pretty good and they offer a wide variety of different toppings, continually refreshed. Personally I only had the pizza since the pasta looked a little lacklustre, but the salad bar looked pretty good. Nomihodai is also available and although they only have one type of beer, there is a plethora of other drinks. Just don't get nomihodai and tabehodai at the same time unless you have the stomach capacity of a double decker bison.

An average Italian restaurant with a 90-minute buffet option at 1380 yen. The pizza buffet features some interesting flavors like strawberry or banana as it is mostly frequented by high school children. The pasta options were very limited and of average quality.

This is your place if you want quantity over quality. We spent ¥3600/2 people on a Sunday evening here. Pizza of different toppings just kept coming, there’s also 4 types of very dry, not very good pasta, some fries, salad, fresh fruit and curry + rice. The staff are professional and accommodating. The only minus point is the orange juice, it tasted 20% juice and 80% water. The tea bags were great quality though.
