鯨	鯨影 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ このお寺さんの中には間宮林蔵の墓があり、その説明書きには下記のことが明記されていました。間宮林蔵ここに眠る 19世紀初頭の北方探検家・地理学者の間宮林蔵は、安永9年(1780)常陸国筑波郡上平柳衬に生まれ、天保15年(1844)波乱に満ちた65歳の生涯を終え、ここに眠っています。林蔵は、当専称寺の住職伯栄和尚に学び、その才能を発揮、小貝川の堰止め工事で認められたといわれ、江戸に出て行きました。ここは幼い頃の林蔵の勉学の場であり、遊びの場でもありました。昭和30年(1955)墓は茨城県の史跡に指定されました。郷土の偉人「間宮林蔵」顕彰のため、子孫伊奈間宮家、専称寺の協力を得て、この墓所を保存、公開しています。間宮林蔵の墓この墓は、文化4年(1807)決死の覚悟で樺太探検に出発するにあたり、林蔵自ら建立した生前の墓です。偉大な事業を成し遂げる前の、身分の低い武士に合った百姓並みの墓です。顕彰記念碑(間宮先生埋骨之處) 明治37年(1904)正五位の贈位を受けたあと、明治43年志賀重昂らの仲介で建立されました。碑文中「先生の功烈愈々顕れて先生の墓石愈々小也」の文章は特に有名です。平成7年2月　つくばみらい市教育委員会 Inside this temple was the grave of Mamiya Rinzo, and the following was clearly stated in the description.
