★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The great 360view of Onomichi is at the top of Observatory deck.
On 2nd floor you can find a restaurant that serves variety of ice cream and delicious meals.
Tip: During spring time - If you want to try for the Sakura fLavored Ice cream, the one inside the observatory is better (milkier and more smooth) compared to the outside shop. Though the outside shop can have an option to have dual fLavored ice cream though.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 5 stars for the beautiful view of the ocean from top of the hill. Rope way had a 40 minute wait to ride to the top so climbed. Can see a lot of old Japanese architecture turned into restaurant and quaint cafes. Unfortunately after a healthy climb, the menu at the restaurant at the top was all fried foods with no vegetables. Great variety of fried this and fried that at a very steep price 1200-1400yen per person. You can see from the pictures that the servings were small for the high price...so only 1 star.
