M	M OSHIMA on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 蒲郡のシンボル"竹島" その橋のすぐ近くにあります。素敵な空間でした。かつてこの建物の場所に旅館「常磐館」があり、大正、昭和初期に菊池寛、志賀直哉、谷崎潤一郎、山本有三、川端康成、井上靖、三島由紀夫など文人に愛されていたとのこと。だから文学記念館なんですね。ただ、建物は明治後期に建てられた蒲郡市内にあった「岡本医院」の建物を模倣復元したものだそうです。そんなに大きなスペースではありませんが、落ち着ける雰囲気です。奥の和室から見る竹島がいい感じです。 Gamagori's symbol "Takeshima" is right next to the bridge. That's why it's a literary memorial hall. However, the building is said to have been imitated and restored from the building of "Okamoto Clinic" in Gamagori City, which was built in the latter half of the Meiji era. It's not a big space, but it has a calm atmosphere. Takeshima seen from the Japanese-style room in the back is a nice touch.
渡	渡辺一幸 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ノーベル文学賞を受賞した川端康成、大正・昭和初期の日本の文人達に愛された、料亭旅館「常磐館」の趣を再現した海辺文学歴史記念館を訪れました。和装の女性スタッフの方が事務所から出られ優しく招待してくれました。文学に詳しくない私ですがそうなんだ？と思わせる記事がたくさんありました。珈琲もあり300円でした。 5年後、10年後の未来に手紙を投函する「時手紙」コーナーもありますよ。但し有料です。記念館は無料ですので１度は行ってみて下さい。場所は八百富神社の隣です。お庭にはツツジが綺麗に咲いておりました。 We visited the Nobel Prize in Literature Yasunari Kawabata and the Seaside Literature History Memorial Hall, which recreates the taste of the Japanese restaurant "Jobankan", which was loved by Japanese writers in the Taisho and early Showa periods. K	Kori Planning on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 料亭旅館「常磐館」を再現したということで、ワクワクを胸に足を運びました。最高のロケーションです！日当たりの良い縁側から見渡せる海と、竹島を目の前に、このような場所で執筆作業を行えば、素晴らしい作品が出来上がるであろうと想像しました。当日の著名な文筆家がこよなく愛した場所である理由が分かる気がしました。平日の午後1時ごろ足を運びました。和装に身を包んだスタッフの方が丁寧にお出迎えをしてくださり、館内を貸し切りで静かに見学、昭和へタイムスリップしたような気分で過ごすことが出来ました。 I was excited to visit the restaurant "Tokibankan" because it was reproduced. I felt that I could understand why it was a place that the famous writer of the day loved so much. I went there around 1 pm on weekdays. The staff dressed in kimono greeted me politely, and I was able to spend a quiet tour of the hall and feel like I had traveled back in time to the Showa era.
Y	Y's Studio on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 晩春の三河湾、有機的で濃密な浅蜊などの水棲生物が呼んでる気がして蒲郡へ。文豪たちにまつわる記念館の素敵な佇まいが気になって訪問した。知らなかったが、蒲郡ホテルの前身の常磐館を作ったのがタキヒョーの滝　信四郎氏であったとのこと。文豪たちは、東海道随一と言われた常磐館に滞在し、濃密でたおやかな三河湾にいだかれて筆をとったそうである。館内は広くはないが、谷崎潤一郎、川端康成、志賀直哉、三島由紀夫、菊池寛などの作品などが紹介され、滞留したであろう和室が再現されている。穏やかで濃密な海洋にいだかれて、往時の時の流れを味わうのも良いだろう。 I felt that aquatic creatures such as Mikawa Bay in late spring and organic and dense Lajonkairia lajonii were calling, so I went to Gamagori.
