V	Vinayak Bhardwaj on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very old aquarium and not as impressive as some of the bigger ones but a very good admission price for the scale of this aquarium. The staff is quite nice and so are the informative and sometimes funny descriptions of the exhibits (Japanese only). I have been to countless aquariums in Japan but I think this is the only place you can touch a big, live crab! The island of Takeshima is also walking distance from this place. The sea lion show was good but pretty crowded for the size of this aquarium. One hour is enough to see this place.

S	Samuel John on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It may be the smallest aquarium I've ever visited, BUT it was so fun. We could get so close to many of the sea creatures and even touch and feed the spiky crabs, turtles and Giant Spider crabs. The seal show was cute also. I would recommend going in the morning as the line in the afternoon crawls at a snails pace. Originally, we lined up on Saturday afternoon, but left the line after 30 minutes of waiting and getting nowhere. On Sunday the aquarium opens from 9 o'clock. We got there 8:45 and there was a half decent line already. That said, we made the first group admission upon opening at 9. If you visit Takeshima, put this on your list of places to visit.

Y	Yuke S on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is an aquarium with a handmade feel. There are lots of small and unique creatures for a whole family to enjoy. My kids had a great time, observing them one by one and feeding sea turtles. At the souvenir shop, my 9yo bought some stationery with sea creatures on it, while my 7yo bought a beautiful spoon and fork set filled with water and seashells. It takes us only two hours or so to go around, so we hung out at the seashore for the afternoon, finding creatures.
