私の家では、弁天池、弁天様と呼んでいます。
池は葦などが群生しているので、入ったり遊ぶのは危険です。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 「稲荷前池」のほとりに石祠が鎮座まします。溜池の守り神でしょうか。池の名称はそのまま素直に、稲荷神社の前にある池という意味ですね。
池は青々とした草で覆われ湖面が見えないほどでした。
