E	Erin Russell on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went to this place on our first night in Hiroshima, 1 week into travelling Japan. Food here is not good at all, maybe it’s more of a bar. Food was expensive for small, bland portions. There was a bit of a “tourist-tax” for using the English menu.

We returned that night and enjoyed ourselves. The food was good without being very exciting but the service was friendly and we had a bottle of very good Nero d’Avola. Warning - if you grab a bottle of wine off their shelves there is a ¥1000 “BYO” charge. Plus all prices exclude tax. Given everyone has to pay tax its confusing why they don’t just list the “including tax” price and be done with it. they do make all the above clear on the menu to be fair but that doesn’t mean I have to like it. Only real negative was it was one of those “smoking is allowed” places...
N	Nina Bailey on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such a nice place! Welcoming people, good food at good prices. A must-have is the pork stew, bubbling away at the sit-round bar and grill. Also had grilled oysters, raclette cheese and some grilled aubergine - all delicious. Highly recommended.

Cured meat and cheeses, as well as yakitori and a huge assortment of other grilled meat. We ordered the house smoked bacon as a snack, and was closer to smoked thick cut pork belly. Great flavor, but not to be mistaken for American style bacon.

The ambiance was really nice and I liked the interior. There’s a lot of choices in the menu and it the prices were reasonable. The food was good and serving was pleasing. I just thought the pork dish and the beef dish that we had was slightly under-seasoned. But overall, the drinks and foods were pleasant. The staff were very accommodating and approachable, too. Recommended!
