The south side seems to have been redeveloped together with the station square and has a beautiful cityscape, but there are very few shops and restaurants, and I get the impression that it is empty. I don't see many taxis waiting for customers in front of the station, and there are few buses on the city line, so when you visit Sano City by train, you should ask for a pick-up or check the bus time in advance. I think it's good. Also, despite being the closest station to the famous "Sano Soshuji", there are very few guides to Sano Soshuji, and I'm worried that there are almost no advertisements. The same is true from the station to Sano Soshuji Daishi, and there are only a few signboards installed by the temple that seem to be guides. There may be some reason, but I don't think that the cooperation between Sano City, Sano Yakuseki Daishi, and the region is working well. Prior inspection is required when visiting Sano Soshuji Daishi by train.

Especially at the north exit, it is an enviable station to have Sano Castle Park, which is dazzling with greenery. I thought that the station directly connected to the castle was Mihara station.
