s	shimesaba on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 右京区鳴滝にある日蓮宗のお寺三宝寺、アクセスはバスを利用するか、嵐電北野線宇多野駅か徒歩（20～30分）になります。駐車場もあるので車で行かれる方も多いです。ここでは毎年12月の初旬に日蓮聖人の遺徳を偲ぶ法要と合わせて、厄除けの大根焚きが営まれます。何かと穢の多い１年を過ごしている私も、厄払いに大根を頂きに何度か伺っています。モクモクと湯気の立ち上る大釜で大量に茹でられる大根は見ているだけで圧巻でした。大きな油揚げと一緒に茹であげられた大根には、なんでも日蓮宗秘法の中風封じ祈祷がされているのだとか。高血圧気味なのでありがたいです。折角なので日蓮聖人が冷えた身体を温める良薬として「ゆず」を珍重した故事にちなんだ「ゆずご飯」も頂きます。大根焚き(700円)＋ゆずご飯(800円)　少しお高い気もしますが、まあ縁起ものですしね。冷えた身体に大根の暖かさに染み渡ります。ゆずご飯も優しい味で美味しく頂きました。綺麗な庭を眺めながらいただく大根焚き、1年の穢を払い新たな気持で迎える新年もいいものですよ。 Sampoji Temple of the Nichiren sect in Narutaki, Ukyo-ku, can be accessed by bus, Utano Station on the Randen Kitano Line, or on foot (20-30 minutes).
