店主らしき、高齢な男性が1名で運営してらっしゃるのか、
少し大変そう
水はセルフサービス
いくらでも飲めます。
カレーはすべての具材がルーに溶けた感じ
スパイスはそんなに効いてないような感じ
カウンターには
福神漬けとキャベツの酢漬けのようなものがありました。
道を少し入ったところにあります。
看板が少し見えにくいかも…
カレーにはサラダがついてきます。
カレーを純粋に食べに行く

ベーコンカレー、牛すじカレー、きのこカレー、挽き肉と豆カレーあたりが個人的なおススメ。
トッピングで辛口にすることも可能です。
Basically sweet curry.
Bacon curry, beef tendon curry, mushroom curry, minced meat and bean curry are my personal recommendations.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 店は清潔だしもちろんカレーも美味しい。トッピングも豊富。ご主人のカレーに対する姿勢がすごい。レトルトパックもあるし、テイクアウトもできる。セットには野菜がつく。クセになる味。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 昔、四谷三丁目にあった時は喫茶店で、軽食メニューの中にカレーがありましたが、その後、信濃町に移り、カレーハウスとなったようです。
ここのカレーはレストラン風で、辛さの中にも甘さと酸味がほのかに感じられ、品があります。
毎日大量の野菜を煮込んで作るルー
だそうで、たいへん美味しいです。
あとポイント高いのはサラダがみずみずしく、小皿ですがかなり大盛りで、ドレッシングも美味しいことと、各席に美味しいキャベツの酢漬けと福神漬けもセットされており、カレーとともに野菜もかなり摂取できるのでバランスgood。
マスターと、多忙時にはママさんのアシストでうまく回っています。
サバサバとした、感じの良いお二人です。
慶應病院関係の方が多く訪れるようです。
私はすでにここの味に慣れ親しんでいるので、しばらく行かなくても、急に食べたくなってしまう…
このあたりのカレーといえば、草枕かグレースかという感じです。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 四ツ谷三丁目と信濃町の間にある欧風カレーの店。ルーはブイヨンたっぷりの旨味が強いですがサラサラ系のルーです。ガツンとしたスパイスカレーが好きな人には物足りないかもしれないです。店内は夫婦二人で切り盛りしており、キッチンを囲むようにカウンターのみの作りで水はセルフ。カレーはトッピングを複数選べるようになっています。席には福神漬けなどの薬味が複数あります。
優しいカレーが好きな人にはハマるカレーだと思いますが、言い換えるとカレーをベースにした創作料理のような味わいなのでカレーとビーフシチューの中間のような味わい。直球なドロドロ系の欧風カレーが好きな人にはあまり合わないかも。
