三原城跡の北側に位置する山城跡。
標高175mの頂上にU字型の溝、井戸、土塁跡が残っています。
山名氏の居城であったと伝わっています。
頂上や道中から見える三原市内や瀬戸内海の風景が綺麗です。
登山道の入口はGoogoleMapに「桜山登山道入口」として登録されていますが、住宅地の中にあり少しわかりにくいです。
行き方は三原城跡を東に真っ直ぐ進むと「神明大橋」があります。
そこに「三原城東大手門跡」の石碑と「桜山登山道」の看板や「恵比須神社」があるので、そこから北に真っ直ぐ行きます。
すると住宅地の電柱に「桜山登山道」の看板があるのでそこを西へ行くと入口に到着です。
住所は「三原市館町2-6」付近です。
山道は一応整備されていますが、歩きやすい靴をオススメします。
入口から山頂まで徒歩30分ぐらいです。

Mountain Castle which is located on the north side of Mihara Castle.
Summit in the U-shaped groove at an altitude of 175m, well, there are still Doruiato.
Yamana's has conveyed that it was a castle.
Mihara city and the Seto Inland Sea landscape seen from the top and along the way is beautiful.
The entrance of the trail has been registered as "Sakurayama trail entrance" to GoogoleMap, but it is a little confusing located in a residential area.
Directions There are straight forward and "Shinmei Bridge" to the east of Mihara Castle.
Because there is a "Mihara Joto major Monzeki" monument and billboards and "Ebisu Shrine" of the "Sakurayama mountain trail", it goes straight from there to the north.
Then we arrive at the entrance and go out there to the west because in the residential area of utility poles there is a sign of "Sakurayama mountain trail".
Address is near the "Mihara Tatemachi 2-6".
Mountain road has been tentatively maintenance, but we recommend easy to walk shoes.
It is about a 30-minute walk from the entrance to the summit.
