中世の平山城跡で主郭の周囲は土塁で囲まれ南東隅と南西隅には櫓台跡とされ見学ルートがあります。
コンパクトにまとまった城跡には曲輪や堀切があり、一部に石積みが残っています。

比高は40mほどで麓の八幡神社には案内板があり登城口もそこにあります。
