★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 堺の｢えべっさん｣として有名な神社。菅原神社の境内にありますが、立派な拝殿があり摂社という規模ではないです。御朱印も独立したものが頂けました。
元々別の場所にあったものが、菅原神社に合祀されて今の場所に来た様です。詳しく調べてはいませんが、周辺の地名に“戎”に関する地名が多くあり、昔から有力な神社だったのだと思われます。
A shrine famous as Sakai's "Ebisu". Although it is located in the precincts of Sugawara Shrine, it has a magnificent hall of worship and is not on the scale of Setsumatsusha. I also received an independent red stamp.
It seems that what was originally in another place was enshrined at Sugawara Shrine and came to the present place. I haven't investigated it in detail, but there are many place names related to "Ei" in the surrounding place names, and it seems that it was a powerful shrine from long ago.

大通りからの入り口が解り易いかと。

堺の戎さんに、残り福を頂きに行って来ました。福娘の「商売繁盛で笹持ってこい」と元気いっぱいの掛声が、又福笹にも行列が出来ていました。露店もたくさん出てました。
