★ ★ ★ ★ ★ お堂の中に、愛宕地蔵と岩ノ端の2体の地蔵様がいます。愛宕神社は火伏せの神様として祀られていますが、地蔵様は初めてでした。資料によると地蔵信仰と愛宕さまが結びついた仏とされているようです。岩ノ端地蔵は村の外れの岩の端にある地蔵という意味らしく、この周辺の集落の境に置かれることにより、魔物の侵入を防ぎ村を守る地蔵様とのこと、２体は、右が愛宕地蔵・左が岩ノ端地蔵になります。場所が坂道途中にあり元来の目的が集落の為の地蔵であることから、車等で行く場合は停車場所に困りますが、周辺の安全な場所を探してもらうしかないです。同市の名所・旧跡指定を受けている（個人的には名所と思う）場所になります。
