★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 浄土寺を建立した重源上人が播磨の布教活動の拠点として此の寺を開基したと伝え、弟子の善阿により伽藍が建立されたと伝えられます。弟子である善阿はここから離れた「ぶつぶつ」と呼ばれる場所で修業を行ったとされています。改装工事等で重厚な建物に細工された彫刻の見事さなどに目を引かれます。来迎寺の霊園内にある市場古墳群へはここから歩いて移動した方が案外楽かもしれません。
It is said that Chogen Shonin, who built Jodo-ji, opened this temple as a base for Harima's missionary activities, and that the temple was erected by his disciple Zena. It is said that his disciple, Zena, trained in a place called "Butsutsu" away from here. You will be attracted to the splendor of the sculptures made on the heavy building due to renovation work. It may be easier to walk from here to the market burial mounds in the reien of Raikoji.

結構広い、紅葉が所々素晴らしいです。
駐車場がかなり広くて、
もちろん無料でした。
公共交通機関では不便な場所だと思われます。
