★ ★ ★ ★ ★ かるかやさんの名称でで長野で親しまれている西光寺。思ったより広く沢山の御社・お地蔵・石碑などがあり時間をかけて境内を散策させていただきました。開山開碁は正治元年（1199年）で善光寺とも縁が深い歴史あるお寺ですので善光寺参りと一緒に訪れることをお勧めします。
また善光寺七福神巡りの第一番「寿老人」がいらっしゃいます。
Saikou-ji Temple is known in Nagano under the name of Karukaya. There were more companies, Jizo, stone monuments, etc. than I expected, and I took a long time to walk around the precincts. Kaisan Kaisan is a historical temple that is closely related to Zenkoji in the first year of Shoji (1199), so it is recommended to visit it with a visit to Zenkoji.
In addition, there is the first "Jurojin" who visits the Seven Lucky Gods of Zenkoji.

JR長野駅から徒歩で善光寺表参道へ入って5分ほどのところにあります。山門が歩道から奥になっていて見過ごしてしまうかもしれません。町中なので境内は広くはありませんが、きれいに掃き清められ落ち着いた雰囲気にどこかしら華があります。｢絵解きの寺｣として苅萱同心石童丸御親子絵伝の絵解きが行われるそうです。りっぱな本堂の他、苅萱塚、太子堂、寿老人、朝日山大蛇の塚など見どころいっぱいの浄土宗のお寺です。
Karukaya-san Jakushoin Saikoji Temple
It is about 5 minutes on foot from JR Nagano Station to Zenkoji Omotesando. The mountain gate is behind the sidewalk and you may overlook it. The precincts are not large because it is in the town, but there is some glamor in the calm atmosphere that has been swept clean. It is said that Karukaya Doshin Ishidomaru's parent-child picture biography will be done as a "temple of painting". In addition to the fine main hall, it is a temple of the Jodo sect with many attractions such as Karukaya, Taishido, Jurojin, and Asahiyama Daijazuka.
