土日でもわりと人が少なく閑散としてます。
I stopped by when I came to a soba restaurant next door.
Even on Saturdays and Sundays, there are relatively few people and it is quiet.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ こちらに道の駅の売店があり、隣に蕎麦店があります。ネットで人気の希少なザルなどが安く買えたり、何度か行けば織姫様に会えるかもしれません。
There is a Michi-no-Eki shop here, and there is a soba shop next to it. You can buy rare monkeys that are popular on the net cheaply, or you can meet Orihime if you go several times.

The roadside station, the craft museum, and the restaurant are located on the same site, and you can relax while sitting on a bench and looking at the sky.

There are few convenience stores and roadside stations around here, so it is useful for using the toilet. It is not crowded and is open even on Sundays.

日本最古の布のひとつ「苧麻（ちょま）」が展示されています。苧麻は大麻ではない麻で別称からむしです。昭和村はからむし農家の集落で、現在は日本最大のかすみ草農家としてからむしも少量生産しています。越後上布、小千谷縮の原料地です。
苧麻をはじめ古代布に関する豊富な展示があります。当道の駅に訪れる最大の理由はこの資料館を観ることにあると思います。道の駅では織物体験もできるようです。
清潔なバリアフリートイレがあります。道の駅のトイレが古いので、当館のトイレ利用をオススメします。

"Archaeological Museum" "Paid" "Photographable"
One of Japan's oldest cloths, "Choma", is on display. Ramie is a hemp that is not cannabis and is also known as ramie. Showa Village is a village of ramie farmers, and is currently the largest ramie farmer in Japan, producing small quantities of ramie. It is the raw material for Echigo Jofu and Ojiya-chiji.
There is an abundant exhibition of ancient cloth such as ramie. I think the biggest reason to visit this station is to see this museum. It seems that you can also experience weaving at the roadside station.
There is a clean barrier-free toilet. The toilet at the roadside station is old, so we recommend using the toilet at the hotel.
