★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had lunch at the restaurant on a weekday and ordered the gai ga pao (basil stir-fried with chicken). However, there was no ga pao (basil) in the dish! Also, it was barely warm and seemed to be taken from a buffet in the kitchen. Even the onions and bell peppers seemed so soft like a stew. The green curry was okay, but was plain and the chicken had a slight gamey taste to it. Anyone with the ingredients at home could make it. Basically, everything tasted like “uber eats” - microwaved or taken from a buffet for quick delivery. The positive points? The service is very good and the waitress was very kind. The prices are reasonable and they have plastic partitions set up on tables to protect their customers from COVID. Maybe I just caught the chef/restaurant on a bad day. Hmm.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sabaidee is both Lao and Thai food. The menu will guide you in ordering from which country based on the flags. There are also photos provided. I only tried the Lao side which is ground pork with spice, chicken steamed and wrapped with banana leaves and bamboo soup. Their rice portion for 1 is hefty and after you eat you feel light and clean.
The food is delicious. I would imagine their Tom Yum (Thai) soup is also good and light. Be warned that the food spiced so for those a little weak on the spicy side, take caution. Overall everything’s good!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lunch set (JPY880 ex tax) is good value for a money. Enjoyed all dishes. Portion of the main menu I chose was larger than I expected. I couldn't finish within my 1 hour lunch time. If you want to take them home, you can do so by paying JPY50 additional charge for packing.
