Great spot for sight seeing! Please bring a jacket into the cave. The temperature could be very low (10 celcius). Cave floor condition is wet, cold & few steep stairs. Please bring suitable attire.

Beautiful cave, very clean, some tight spaces to manuver through and many steps so plan accordingly. This was a quick trip, about twenty minutes to walk through and take pictures. Look around carefully and you will see bats hanging around!

Amazing cave, really beautiful and clear water. Pretty chilly inside but fantastic in summer. Would highly recommend it if you are in the area. Also there is water you can drink near the entrance which is filtered through the system which is meant to have health benefits.

Fantastic experience. The cave is beautiful. It's chilly inside so remember to bring a coat or jumper. We visited when it wasn't so busy so were able to take some lovely photos (tripods are allowed) Some of the stairs are steep and a couple of areas are a little bit of a squeeze but even a large man like me had no problems haha. Highly recommended.

First time in a cave. You could feel the cold air as you past the entrance of the cave. It was a nice feeling as it was 80° outside. I am a 6 ft tall person and had a little troubles as I had to crouch and bend to get through parts of the cave. But incredible experience. Due be careful as it is wet and slippery if you move too fast. Definite checkout while your in Japan.

Truly an awesome cave highly would suggest that if you are anywhere near in the area you absolutely visit. there's several different waterfalls and streams within the cave and including several large deep ponds that you can look deep into. You walk through and there's several routes that take you around it, it is a fixed path that you can kind of Branch off at at several points. But it's really worthwhile going to, and I mean I don't know if you're all the way out there why not just go already. It's a good time take my word for it. There's a few other things to do in the area, it's a nice little complex.

Ryusendo cave is really impressive. The tour take you up and down inside the cave, but it is easily walkable, with proper stairs and so on. The underground lake are really deep, and impressive to see. It's pretty chilly underground so this is perfect for hot summer days. There is also a nice stroll nearby the river up to an onsen, and the museum that you can enjoy there.

Absolutly beautiful with an Incredible amount of history and culture tied to this stunning natural landmark! It is however about 10 degrees below the outside temperature and so a light jacket or jumper might be of use.
