久しぶりの訪問。 かれこれ10年以上は通う餃子の名店。 食べログの餃子100名店にも堂々名を連ねているとのこと。 京浜急行大鳥居駅から徒歩10分弱。産業道路を平和島方面へ歩き、左側にあるケーキの不二家とファミリーマートの間の道を入って20mほど。 近辺にコインパーキングはあまりない印象。産業道路から入ると道も細いため車でのアクセスは難易度高いかも。 平日ランチ11時半開店直前に到着すると4人ほどの並び。開店して奥から詰めてカウンターに着席。席数はカウンターのみ8席ほどか。 カウンターにはパーテーション等はなく、席の間隔も普通ということでコロナ対策は弱め。かなり高齢のおばあさんとその息子さん?おふたりでまわしており、ややぶっきらぼうな接客のためその前提を知らないと印象が悪くなってしまうこともある。 コロナ過敏、接客重視の方にはおすすめしない。 メニューには餃子の他に野菜炒めやタンメンがあるが、2021年6月現在ランチでは餃子ライスのみ注文可能とのこと。 餃子大盛り(630円)とライス(240円)を注文。 ランチタイムでは味噌汁とお新香がつく。 1ロット4人らしく、2ロット目最初に焼きたての餃子が供された。 餃子は大きめやや棒状で両端が開いているブツ。大盛りでは2列で9個。底面が揚げられているような焼き目。 見た目ボリュームたっぷりだが、肉の入らない野菜餃子なのでさくさく食べられる。かといってアッサリということでもなく、旨味も充分に感じられる。 皮は薄めで簡単に破けて餡が飛びだす(笑) 醤油、酢、辣油でオーソドックスに頂くとご飯が進む。餃子単体では辣油のみかけても美味い。 他にあまりないタイプの餃子で、中毒性があり、無性にたべたくなるときがある。 また、夜はテイクアウト(お土産)も可能なのだが、最近は電話しても断られることが多いので注意。タイミングが難しい…おばあさんの稼働状況によるのか。 いずれにせよ、東京の南西端っこにうまい餃子屋がある事実。蒲田の羽根付き餃子もよいが少し足を延ばして大鳥居に来て是非お試し頂きたい一品だ。
