And no matter what you order! ! was delicious~. The atmosphere inside the store was calm, and the clerk's service was very good! After a long time at an izakaya, I came across a shop with a perfect score! This is the shop I would definitely go to if I go to Kyoto.

Upon entering or leaving the place someone who noticed the customers yelled something followed by the entire place (customers and staff) shouting something like "Shoze!" in a communal greeting / farewell. Made the place feel comfortable right away. I think it meant something like "May luck shine uppon you, wherever you are' as where everyone would repeat the everywhere part. Everything was perfectly prepared and tasted more than great. Definitely try the sweet beef! We couldn't stop eating it. Very nice and helpfull personel, really took the time to take our orders and explain what we could order even though we couldn't understand one and another very well. Definitely one of the best moments besides accidentally encountering the Royal family on Mt Koya San, drinking sake with the old Apple director of Japan in the only Tsumago tavern or paying respect to the biggest buddha I've ever seen in Nara Temple. So thank you guys so much for that unforgetable moment in an unforgetable trip. If I am ever lucky enough to be able to visit Japan again, I definitely will go back to this place to taste that delightfully cooked sweet beef again! Shoze!
