草の隙間から鉄塔と僅かに建物が見えるのみ。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 小学生時代の70年前後に相模原から自転車で長池にザリガニ採りに通うときにここの前を何度も往復しました。その頃と周辺の風景が一変してしまいましたが、この通信所の景色は50年前のままです。小学生時代にタイムスリップしたような錯覚にとらわれました。
Around 70 years when I was in elementary school, I went back and forth in front of here many times when I went to Nagaike by bicycle from Sagamihara to pick up crayfish. At that time, the scenery around the area changed completely, but the scenery of this communication station is the same as it was 50 years ago. I was caught in the illusion of time slipping when I was in elementary school.

どのようなどこかと期待しつつ 行ってみました
そこに存在していたのは 一本のアンテナでした
入り口は閉ざされていて近くまで行けません
ちょっと残念でした
While cycling, I was looking for a way home and found the site of the US Army Yuki Communication Station
I went while expecting something like
There was only one antenna
The entrance is closed and you can't go near
It was a little disappointing

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ２０１１年の福島第一原発事故後の計画停電の時も、この通信所の機能維持のため、周辺地域は計画停電地域に含まれていたにも拘らず、実際は停電にならなかった。
それも返還されて、今では跡地となったけど鉄塔だけはまだ残されています。
アクセス道路についても、維持管理のために残されていた道路がそのまま今でも残っているという、近現代日本史跡に興味がある人には面白い場所かもしれません。
Even during the rolling blackouts after the 2011 Fukushima Daiichi nuclear accident, the surrounding area was included in the rolling blackout area in order to maintain the function of this communication station, but the actual power outage did not occur.
It was also returned and is now a site, but only the tower is still there.
As for the access road, it may be an interesting place for those who are interested in modern Japanese historic sites, as the road that was left for maintenance is still there.

敷地内には47mの通信鉄塔が建ち、現在でも使用されています。
長池公園と隣接し、目の前を南多摩尾根幹線道路(都道158)とその旧道が通っています。
旧道の橋は長池上小山田陸橋といいます。
The Yuki Communication Station was returned from the US military in 2016, and the site is state-owned land.
A 47m communication tower was built on the premises and is still in use today.
Adjacent to Nagaike Park, the Minamitamaone Main Road (city road 158) and its old road pass in front of you.
The old road bridge is called Nagaikegami Oyamada Overpass.
