If you eat it after warming it a little, the syrup sandwiched between the waffles will melt a little and it will be soaked in and you can eat it more deliciously. They are made with various flavours from the traditional cinnamon, to the Japanese favorite of vanilla, all the way through to interesting creations like Earl Grey and cheese! The cafe is small and 'gezellig' with Dutch paraphernalia and the smell of fresh waffles. You can have one in with a hot drink, or grab a pack to go. They also stock other assortments of Stroopwafel based products, such as granola and cookies, both mixed with leftovers from the baking process. The staff are friendly, and if you ask nicely the owner might turn on the music maker for you! If you happen to miss the opening hours, don't fret. There's a vending machine outside!
