Rokkasen is an all you can eat (ayce) A5 wagyu yakinuki, shabu shabu, and sukiyaki restaurant in Shinjuku just steps away from the main train station. They are on the pricy end but offer an extensive high-quality menu that will satisfy everyone in your party. Our standard dinner order is the Wakamurasaki set (¥12,500) because it provides a duel cooking method yakinuki and shabu shabu. You can choose sukiyaki instead of shabu shabu but it’s a bit sweet and slows me down eating beef. The BBQ meat provided includes Sirloin, short rib, and tongue. While for shabu shabu (sukiyaki) you’ll be provided with insanely marbled and comedically large sheets of wagyu beef. You can also do an AYCE Matsusaka beef which is the named best wagyu (¥26,000 -¥27,000) if you’re willing to pay for it. I prefer the mid-tier option here because I’d rather enjoy Matsusaka beef in a teppanyaki or lighter shabu shabu meal for a third of the price. For me the only option is the Wakamurasaki set (¥12,500) for the dual cooking method because it’s only a¥1,000 mark up from the yakiniku only set. Having an extra shabu shabu pot lets you cook twice as fast and gives you an extra flavor profile. Oh, and easier vegetable cooking if you eat that

We went in at around 9pm but got seated immediately. It's a bit pricey (7700yen for all you can eat yakiniku) but for a tabehoudai and the quality of meat it's pretty worth it. Def order the offal it's one of the best things I've ever had. The sirloin and the shoulder is also really amazing. But only thing is that my friends and I tried to split the bill. He paid cash and I paid with card and they charged my card full amount of the bill and took his cash. If I didn't find out immediately I would have been scammed of twice the amount I should have paid. One star taken off for that mistake/scam(?)

7,700yen(8,250 included tax) Buffet, it’s exceed my expectation. Beef and beef tongue is good. Crab, shrimp, scallops and veggi are fresh. Moji ice cream is served at the end of the course. Ummmm.Heaven...Also 5 stars to staffs, nice and friendly.

Rokkasen is famous for its high quality meat and all you can eat Wagyu beef with reasonable price. We had a reservation online, paid in advance one month before our visit so we didn’t need to wait in the long line. We chose Yuki Yakiniku AYCE and the price is ¥7,500 +tax. It’s all you can eat in 90 minutes with about 40 items on the menu and desert in the end. They serve a great variety of choices from beef, pork, chicken to seafood which were decent BBQ ingredients. There are also side dishes (kimchi, salad), rice and ramen. Our favorite meat was short ribs and beef tongue which was astonishingly tasty and immediately melted in our mouth when we tried. We also love their crab and shrimp; the texture of seafood was tender and juicy with natural sweet flavor. The service was friendly and attentive, the staff prepared everything quickly. However, the environment was not so neat and it was too crowded for us.

We were at the other location, the Rokkasen Apex, about a block away. Rokkasen has one of the best red meats that I have ever had. The meat was savory, juicy, smooth, and almost melts in your mouth. They have a lot of options on their All you can eat section. And you place your order on a tablet once you let the staff know which course you want. This, however, comes with a price tag of 8,500Yen/person ($77.90USD/person), and you have a 90 minutes time frame. It is absolutely worth it! If you are a foodie that loves red meat, this is the place for you. The service is great and the food comes out quick, but if it is busy then it will take some time. Make sure that you have a reservation because spots are very limited, we got lucky with ours. Also, you need at least 2 people to dine here. Furthermore, if you have a lot of left over food, there will be a surcharge of 1000Yen/person.

Was super lucky when we got here. Was told there was going to be a 90mins wait, but then a table had just opened up so we didn't have to wait! The meats were absolutely delicious! Try the crab (This was one of the last things we ordered, and we weren't going to) the crab meat just falls out! We had a little private room and shoes were removed at the door which was nice. Everything is ordered via a tablet and food is brought to you. Definitely recommend! Absolutely delicious!

If you want to indulge into a big feast without worrying about the budget, I would highly recommend this place. Their all you can eat menu I think ranges from $100USD to $190USD? I don't exactly remember the price, but you do get quality fresh food, including prime grade wagyu (wide variety), lobsters, crabs, scallops...Etc. It was one of the best meals I had in Japan.

It was Fall 2019. Pre-Pandemic Prime Time. Last trip before this Covid 19 thing. And I have not travelled ever since. I am so glad that I made it to Japan and visited this food paradise in 2019. This place is located in central Tokyo. And IMO it has the best all you can eat Wagyu Beef. The price is a bit steep but you get what you paid for. Service is top notch as well. View is fantastic too. If I ever go back to japan in the future, this place will be the first stop on my food list. Period. Hopefully I will see you soon. Keep my finger crossed.
