こぢんまりとしていていて、休憩施設としてみてもなんだか微妙だな～とおもう道の駅です。お土産物屋兼農産物直売所と隣に軽食コーナーがありますが、お昼時は地元のご年配な皆様がなんだかくつろぎながらワイワイされている模様。
隣にローカルスーパー「ラコス」があるので、お土産物と言うか地方の台所事情を覗くならそっちに行ったほうが面白いかもしれない。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 土曜日夕方、あまりの暑さに車中泊断念！電話すると空き有りで宿泊！スタッフの対応も良く、清潔感の感じられる場所！歩いて200mくらいでスーパーがあり、食品、アルコール、雑貨は調達可能。これは道の駅敷地内みたい！宿泊費には温泉の利用料込みで室内にもユニットバスは有る！露天風呂は無いけどいい湯でした。
On Saturday evening, I gave up staying in the car due to the heat! When you call, there is a vacancy and you can stay! A place where you can feel the cleanliness with good staff support! There is a supermarket about 200m on foot, and you can procure food, alcohol, and miscellaneous goods. This looks like the roadside station premises! There is a unit bath in the room including the hot spring usage fee in the accommodation fee! There is no open-air bath, but it was a good one.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ お店の方が親切、フレンドリーで温かい道の駅。同じ敷地にスーパーもあるので、旅行者も地元の方も利用してる感じでした。ここからみる出羽三山は見事です。
The shop is kinder, friendly and warm roadside station. There is also a supermarket on the same site, so it felt like both travelers and locals were using it. Dewasanzan seen from here is wonderful.

道の駅の店員の方は親切でした。

敷地内には、産直や軽食コーナーやスーパーがあります！！
また隣接には温泉があり、とても便利です。
駐車場も広いので、トラック運転手さんが休憩とかしている時もあります！！(^-^)/
また、鶴岡蛾嵋橋近くにあった、人気のラーメン屋さん！
麺絆英さんのラーメンや餃子の自販機も設置してあります！！

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 地域に根差した地元スーパーマーケットも別棟にある道の駅です。近接するところには宿泊や入浴出来る施設設備があります。ノマドライフやドライブ旅行者に有り難いところです。
バイパス道路ができて、幹線道路から離れていますから、若干人の流れが以前より減って来ていますので、穴場スポット的な?場所になった印象です。
