Tons of locally caught seafood and crabs can be bought straight from the fishermen at the markets here and there are also a number of restaurants on-site. Make sure to check out the maritime museum for information about the really cool local maritime high school!

Once you buy 1 crab then may get 1 free though the free one is smaller than the bought one, yes it's the same as some pizza stores. If you love seafood and crabs stopping here is a must anyway.

You can see a nice view of the area from a small observatory close to the windmill. There is a boat musuem for a few yen. It is a romantic and family friendly road stop. There is also a fish store in the vacinity. You can try crabs here. Pick your stall and eat them fresh from a bucket. A 711, food trucks, restaurants and tourist information located in or around the building.
A	Aiko Yoshida on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Extremely fresh seafood at VERY reasonable price. If you are a seafood lover do visit here. Crabs are delicious and be sure to visit during the crab season which starts from November. You can eat the crabs there and can purchase one from about 1000 yen depending on the size and up to about 3000 yen. The shops will give you scissors, wet towel and container for the crabs. You can also eat oysters and grilled other seafood too!

We have been twice but this day was the best as we arrived at 5pm just before they close at 6pm and they were empty , also being a weekday they had all menu on offer , staff were brilliant and so polite and helpful with our limited Japanese we got everything we wanted to try. I really recommend going on a weekday , last time we went was weekend and place was at capacity and most menu items had run out.
