★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 日本海の展望が素晴らしい道の駅。敦賀方面へ、下道で往来するときには、海沿いの8号線を利用することが多く、一息つきたいときに丁度いい場所に位置してます。トイレ、フードコーナー、特産品の販売店とこじんまりとしてますが、道の駅としての機能は一通り揃ってます。夕日のタイミングはとても素晴らしい景色が広がりますよ。
 Roadside station with a wonderful view of the Sea of Japan. When going down the road to Tsuruga, we often use Route 8 by the sea, and it is located in the right place when you want to take a break. It is small with toilets, food corners, and specialty stores, but it has all the functions of a roadside station. The timing of the setting sun gives you a wonderful view.

写真は、たまたま道の駅を素通りしたときに撮ったものです（笑）
I sometimes pass here when I go to Takefu. The Sea of Japan seen from here is beautiful.
The photo was taken when I happened to pass by the roadside station (laughs).

景色は本当に素晴らしい！
敦賀湾と広ーい日本海が一望できる。
ただ、多くの人が北陸道を使うからか、8号線を使う一般旅行者は少ない為か､道の駅の品揃えは他の道の駅に比べて少ないと思います。
ですが、ライダーや道を楽しみたい人には無くてはならない道の駅です。
お手洗いも6年前の寒い冬リニューアル中だったのに、もう壁のシミも見られて、年の経つのを実感させられます。
長い8号線の旅の間に深呼吸??にお立ち寄り下さい

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is small road side station overlooking the sea. There are one or two shops if you want buy something. But the scenery from this really good. However, there is ample space for parking.
