★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 道の駅としてはかなり小さい部類。売りものはほとんどなく、食堂メイン。
ハタハタ天丼と人気No.1というお殿水ラーメン、カレーパンをいただきました。
珍しいなと頼んだハタハタ天丼は、時期的なものなのか、ハタハタだけでなく山菜の天ぷらも付いて大ボリューム。ハタハタの身も思ったより肉厚でしっかりしてて食べ応えあり。旨い。山菜も3種類も入っててあきさせない。比較的クセの弱い食べやすい物を選んでいるっぽい。
お殿水ラーメンはサッパリした塩味の魚介系ラーメン。名物の名水、お殿水を使ったものとのことだけど、見た目や味に分かるほどの影響は無いのがちょっと残念。でも普通に旨かった。
カレーパンは揚げたてカリっカリ。カレーあんは辛さ控えめ、でもスパイシーさはあってこれまた旨かった。
思いがけず良き飯屋に出会えた。

Otenmizu Ramen is a refreshing salty seafood ramen. It is said that it uses the famous water of the palace, but it is a little disappointing that it does not affect the appearance and taste. But it was delicious normally.
Curry bread is freshly fried and crispy. The curry bean paste was modestly spicy, but it was spicy and delicious.
I unexpectedly met a good restaurant.

こんなところに道の駅？
って感じの場所にあります。
しかも、これが？というサイズの道の駅。
道の駅の看板が無ければ、ドライブインか食堂並み。
目指して行く場所ではなく、たまたま通りかかり、
小休憩する場所です。
トイレに消毒液ありませんでした。
あと、トイレにあったクモの巣が超巨大でした。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ えっ！こんなところに道の駅があるの？というくらい何もない場所、秋田県と青森県の県境付近の林道の中にあります。
この道の駅からの車の出入りは少し怖いかもしれません。特に出るときは慎重に出ましょう。
小さい道の駅ですね。
お殿水（湧き水）が売りです。飲んでみたところ、ちょっとぬるめの水でした。湧き水は冷たいものという私の概念が覆りました。でもうまみのある水でした。
食堂は9時から18時まで営業していて使い勝手が良さそうだし、美味しそうな雰囲気でした（冬期は9時から16時まで）。
あとは特にこれといったものはありませんでした。
余談ですが、駐車場付近で作業をしている土木のおじさんが5人くらい食堂脇で休憩していましたが、通行人をじろじろ見たり大声で話しをしていたりで不快でした。田舎ではいまだにこんな人達がいるんだなと思いました。

As an aside, about five civil engineering uncles working near the parking lot were taking a break beside the cafeteria, but it was unpleasant to stare at passers-by and talk loudly. I thought there were still people like this in the countryside.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 「お殿水」とは、世界最大のブナの原生林のある世界遺産「白神山地」より湧き出る水を、参勤交代で津軽の殿様がここを通った時飲んだ事から、このような名前が付いたとの事。
この道の駅は食堂とトイレだけの簡素な道の駅。
お土産コーナーも食堂の中。
食堂は年配の女性一人のワンオペで、お客さん3人しかいなかったのに、疲れてなんかぐったりしておりました。
注文するのやめようかなと思ったが、せっかく秋田に来たのだから、名物のはたはたを食べようと思い「はたはたの天丼」870円を注文。
値段も安いし大した期待をしておりませんでしたが、はたはたは、恐らく冷凍だろうけど、衣サクの中ふわでとても美味しかったです。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 八森の北のはずれにある小さい道の駅です。バイクでツーリングする人をメインにしているんですかね？
その中にある食堂。あまり期待しないでハタハタ天丼を頂きましたが、天ぷらはカラっと揚がっていて味付けもよく、めっぽううまかったです。天ぷらもさることながら、セットの味噌汁がタラのアラ汁でめちゃくちゃおいしかった。板さんがタラをさばいていました。タラはメニューにはないので、漁師さんのアルバイトで板さんをやっているのかな？とも思いました。
