そのうちauの三太郎CMに登場するかも知れませんよ。
ただし、悉平太郎とは人ではなく、なんと犬。auではなくSoftBankになるかも知れませんね。
伝説を簡単に紹介すると、こんな感じです。
むか～しむかし、この地では生け贄の習わしがあったそうな。むすめっこを差し出し、妖怪がそれを食らっとったそうじゃ。ある時、その妖怪の弱点が長野にいるという事を知り、その地におもむいたそうじゃ。それはなんと光前寺で飼われている犬であった。そしてむすめっこの代わりに悉平太郎を生け贄の地に。現れた妖怪と壮絶な闘いを繰り広げ、ついに妖怪を討ち果たしたそうな。

He fought a fierce battle with the youkai that appeared, and finally defeated the youkai.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 光前寺では早太郎として祀られていますが、磐田では悉平太郎として神社に祀られています。神社自体は大きくありませんが、その土地に文化が定着し大切にされてきた歴史を感じることができます。あと、ゆるキャン△ファンも聖地巡礼でよく訪れる場所です。
神社の周りは公園になっています。鳥居からの1本道の両脇にはつつじが植えられています。つつじが咲く頃には辺り一面赤く色づきとても綺麗です。
In Komaeji Temple, it is enshrined as Sataro, but in Kamata it is enshrined as a shrine by Taro Hirano. Although the shrine itself is not large, you can feel the history that culture has been established and cherished in the area. Also, Yuru Can フ ァ ン fans are often visited at holy place pilgrimage.
Around the shrine is a park. Azaleas are planted on both sides of the main road from the torii. When the azalea blooms, the area is very red and very beautiful.

霊犬悉平太郎（れいけんしっぺいたろう）が祀られています。
参道入口に凛々しい銅像、一番奥の霊犬神社にお墓となっています。
つつじが綺麗に咲いており、木々も多く、自然に溢れた神社だと思いました。
