I asked if we could use any of the empty tables and we're told only if we ordered more things and drinks. Funny thing was that the people using the tables had only a single sweet or macaroon and no drinks.

Or maybe its due to the limited seats, they enforced this rule? Anyway, the rule wasn't clearly stated at the entrance and staff could not verbalise it clearly in english. And to add to the unhappiness, the drinks menu are very limited with mainly caffeine and cold drinks.

I loved the texture and softness, though the strawberry was a bit tart for my liking, and there was a bit too much filling. This doesn't take away from the fact that it tastes really good, it's just a personal preference. It costs about 300+ Yen per piece, which is darned expensive, so treat this as a once in a while delicacy.

We ordered hot coffee, cake, croissants, and macaroons and had them in the salon inside. I was asked if I wanted sugar or milk, so I asked for milk only, but when I put the milk in the hot coffee, the temperature dropped so quickly that I couldn't help but say it was too ‘cold’ for hot coffee, wished they had at least warmed it up. I would have preferred a more attentive service. It was way better than another more conscientious cafe I visited on a different day!
