★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst food I ever had in Japan. The orange chicken was overcooked with the texture cardboard. The noodles and rice were old and stale devoid of any flavor. The shrimp was all salt. To make the matters worse, it cost me ¥1,600 for this travesty.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was located within the food court of Lazona mall. The area was nice and spacious and wasn’t crowded when I came.
I ordered orange chicken. It was extremely sweet, a lot different than the US version. I wasn’t able to finish and packed it home with me for my husband to eat.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am originally from the San Gabriel Valley in Los Angeles and grew up on Panda Express. Unfortunately, the quality of Panda Express in Japan has been worse and worse after each visit. This review is being made to the Lazona Kawasaki locations as I was here most recently.
They are very cheap with the amount of food: I ordered a bowl and received a 3/4 sparsely filled small container. Come on now!! In the dictionary, a bowl is defined as "a round, deep dish or basin used for food or liquid." Nowhere in the dictionary does it say, BOX. This amount of food would be acceptable for a Happy Hour mid-day snack. The fact that they sell this as a bowl is downright insulting to the OG Panda Express back in the US.
Also, due to the declining popularity of Panda and lack of turnover, the food is also often stone cold during off peak hours. They might as well install a microwave next to the register so that we can warm up the food, convenience store style.
I love Panda Express but the locations here in Japan are really screwing it up. If I were in charge of marketing at Panda Express headquarters, I would immediately change the name of the Japan locations so that they wouldn't be associated with US locations. They are nowhere close to the quality and hospitality. Get your shi* together Panda Express Japan! (I do realize that the review is in English and they won't understand my frustrations)

American Chinese food and the famous orange chicken is what Panda Express is known for
They have added a ton of healthy options like veggie stir fry as a main and also broccoli in the sides
The shrimp sides was great! Would recommend
The only downside is its too crowded and its a part of a food court so its not the best in cleanliness but it’s pretty good nonetheless
Would try it again for takeout ?
