★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great okonomiyaki. Service was wonderful and helpful. Prices are also very fair. Just beware not to cook by yourself, staff are here to serve you and it'll be "rude" if you flipped it yourself. Leave it all to the qualified staff.

The food is prepared in front of you at the table.
It is also positive that there are almost no tourists, but the communication in English is a bit difficult, but fits

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Friendly and polite staff. I like the no frills environment where locals and tourists a like orderly wait in line. The menu is pretty simple and the food is good. They don't speak a whole lot of English, so there isn't really much explanations going on. Just observe and be amazed. Need to say again, the staff are very polite.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is without a doubt the best okonomiyaki I've had in Japan. The taste is good and they make it in front of you at your table. Just remember to let the chef/cook do everything, and don't try to cook yourself. The only downside side is that we had to wait 1 hour and 20 minutes to get inside, which they didn't inform us about.. Otherwise I would really recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If I hadn't been recommended this okonomiyaki restaurant by a friend, I wouldn't have even known it existed! From start to finish, this was a delicious and authentic experience. The staff are friendly and make the okonomiyaki on a hot plate at your table - they even decorate each pancake with a cute picture at the end. Without a doubt this is the best Osaka style okonomiyaki I have ever had. Perfect balance of flavours between the crispy pork belly, tart pickled ginger, and creamy cabbage filling. Top it off with katsuobushi and aonori and you're in food heaven.
Other delicious dishes are the akashiyaki (father of takoyaki) and grilled squid with lemon.
This place has been open for over 50 years and is a total local hangout, so make sure to visit if you're ever in the area.
