★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’ve often criticized Japanese oysters for being large but tasteless. The Hokkaido and Iwate oysters we just had at Oyster Bar Wharf May prove to change my opinion. They were delicious and highly recommended.

We love oyster and decided to go there, it was so packed. Their oyster selection is amazing, all from japan and it’s super value for money too! Their deep fried oyster is amazing too

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really enjoyed the large fresh ‘ABC’ oysters, the grilled wagu and sashimi tuna. My absolute favourite dish though - the avacado frits - amaaazing! Had to order a second dish!
The fried shrimp was also great. The space is a little cramped and noisy and drink selection limited but overall warm and cosy. I would certainly go back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A nice place to chill out and hangout with friends. We were seated at the bar counter. We ordered their house red wine, tried both the Italian and Spanish red wine and paired it with 3 types seasoning of baked oysters. The oysters were good. Ambience was good. It was an enjoyable dining.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My wife and I arrived at this really nice looking collection of restaurants in the NEWoMan part of the building across the street from Shinjuku station's building. We got there a little before 10AM and they were still serving soft rice with oysters in it. That is all they serve, I believe, before 10AM. My wife had done her research and talk to the waitress so we could take seats at the counter. We decided on the 6 piece raw oyster set that included three kinds of oysters. I don't know if you can choose to have all the oysters the same, because my wife ordered in Japanese even though the guy who served us was Caucasian. I really liked the second oyster I ate as it was plump and creamy like (my favorite one is at the top of the bucket in picture #9 and my wife had the same one behind the blue card), which is not to say that any of them were bad at all. The experience was great as the oysters, sparkling wine and the four oyster sauces were all above my expectations. The four sauces (picture #8 included) from left to right: truffle and olive oil, whiskey spray (really surprising and good smell), a hot lemon sauce and a lemon sauce. The spicy one wasn't so spicy and you should try it, as well as the whiskey spray! Of course, the oysters were served with wedges of lemon, which I used only once as the sauces were really good. As you can tell from my receipt, this place is pricey but I loved it, and then went to the Shake Shack, which was only a hop, skip and a jump (or two) down the plaza from this oyster bar!!! I gave it four stars as it is pricey, but considering the area, I expected this.
