★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So, many people probably don't know this, but I have a slight owl phobia (its the eyes). So i decided to face my fear and go to an owl cafe. I literally couldn't breath for the first 10 minutes but after awhile with the friendly staff at the chouette owl cafe I was able to calm down, touch, and even hold the owls. I would definitely recommend this place. The care for the owls well and its very clean amd they monitor any mismanagement of the owls. Also OWLS ARE MEMESSSSSS.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I wish I could give this place zero stars because it’s cruel how to tie owls to stumps, no rest… not flying. How is this legal… it’s just animal cruelty.
All I see is the owner replying to the reviews but not actually doing anything, the owls deserve better, if you don’t change anything about this. I’m going straight to the nearest animal protection centre. ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pricey at ¥1500 per Adult even when counting the free drink but recommended as you do get to spend some quality time with all the beautiful owls, big and small. You can spend quite a while admiring these owls up close.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice folks running this place. Pay the additional 600 yen to get to hold the bird as they will give you a nice framed picture to take home too. This is my 2nd owl cafe in Japan and this one is definitely more organized, more spacious, and a better attraction in general.
Putting all of the animal rights/cruelty debate aside, I highly recommend this place if you really want to go to an owl cafe. If you are debating whether you should go considering the encagement of the animals, then that is a personal dilemma and not reflected in this review.

Albeit the drink included in the entrance fee tasted so bad, and the owners were not particularly friendly, I would rate this place a 5-star venue for owl lovers!
The shop was clean and I did not smell the present of animal. I knew owl should stay in the wood, but how one could resist the temptation of seeing and touching this adorable creature in person?!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very cool and interesting cafe. ¥1500 per adult (July 2018) for a one-hour and includes a drink. Opens at 1100 am. Located on second floor. Within short walking distance from subway stations.
Excellent for children. Orientation provided for touching the owls. Cameras and photographs (no flash photography) encouraged.
Staff very attentive, service is excellent and owls are well cared for and located in separate room away from drink area. About 15 species were available for viewing up close and to touch.
One cautionary note: The time limit applies to the entire time in the cafe, so allow time to consume drinks, or do this first. However, drinks may be taken out.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super clean cafe with different types of owls for you to pet and take photos of. It costs 1,500 yen per person to enter for an hour (you get a free drink) and 6,000 yen to get a printed photo with the select owls.
The owls are so beautiful and relatively tame. Most are tied down so they won’t fly around.
Def worth a visit!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You will pay 1500 yen for 1 hour visit to this cafe with a complimentary drink of your choice. You then need to sanetise your hands and they will teach you where you are allowed to touch the owls. There are quite few of them and they are very nice and quiet. My experience there was fine, I just felt bad for the owls. They were bound with ropes and didn't have much space to fly.
