すぐに、西尾根ルートと龍王ルートの分岐があります。龍王ルートの序盤は倒木エリアがあり、倒木をくぐったり、跨いだりしながら進んで行きます。その、後は沢ルートを進んでいきます。何度か丸太の橋を渡りますが、とても滑りやすいので注意が必要です。
沢ルートから外れると、そこからは長登となりかなりの傾斜をひたすら登るので覚悟が必要です?最後は音羽山の頂上の北側に到着。
距離が短いのですが、登り登りの連続。ゆっくりと登りたい人は牛尾観音ルートからグルッと回るルートで。

Immediately, there is a branch of the Nishione route and the Ryuo route. There is a fallen tree area at the beginning of the Ryuo route, and you will go through the fallen tree and straddle it. After that, follow the Sawa route. Cross the log bridge several times, but be careful as it is very slippery.
If you deviate from the Sawa route, you will need to be prepared for long climbs from there, so you need to be prepared for it. Finally, arrive at the north side of the top of Mt. Otowa.
Although the distance is short, it is a continuous climb. For those who want to climb slowly, go from the Ushio Kannon route.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 山科小山から牛尾観音方面に歩いていくと、鎌研ぎ橋の手前左側に登山口入口があります。獣避け扉を開けると、その先に山道が続いています。ここからは八大龍王コース、西尾根コース、西尾根直登コースを経て、音羽山山頂へ行く事が出来ます。（八大龍王コースの前半は谷筋コースなので雨の後などは水量が多くて歩きにくい時があります。）
最短で音羽山に向かうので、斜度はキツイですが、牛尾観音を経由するより、かなり早く山頂に到着することが出来ます。
If you walk toward Ushio Kannon from Yamashina Koyama, you will find the entrance to the mountain climbing entrance on the left side before the Kama Sharpening Bridge. When you open the beast avoidance door, a mountain road continues ahead. From here, you can reach the summit of Mt. Otowa via the Hachidairyuou Course, Nishione Course, and Nishione Naoto Course. (Since the first half of the Hachidairyuou course is a valley course, it may be difficult to walk due to the large amount of water after rain.)
The slope is tough because it goes to Mt. Otowa in the shortest time, but you can reach the summit much earlier than via Ushio Kannon.
