総合テレビ山陰スペシャルにて、製造販売されている味噌が｢私都(きさいち)みそ｣として紹介されます。地元の婦人会有志の方々が開発製造されていた味噌を㈲こおげ農業開発センターが引き継がれて製造販売されています。
地域農業の育成と特産物開発に優れた農業法人です。獺祭旭酒造にお納めする山田錦も栽培されています。そしてその山田錦を使い、さらに無農薬栽培の大豆を使用した｢酒米みそ｣、美味しいコシヒカリ｢御所米｣などを中心に多種多様な農産物の栽培を若手農業者が中心となり、地域を盛り上げていらっしゃいます。事務所前には、野菜を中心にし｢100円市｣も開催されています。活気溢れる農業法人です。
