★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful little “hidden” gem (I don’t think anything in higashiyama is hidden and not crowded enough). Amazing views and the food has generous portions. Food is delicious although the menu is somewhat limited. They also have a large dessert and parfait selection. Would definitely come back for that with some tea for the amazing view of Kyoto city.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The worst matcha latte and cappuccino we have ever had. Foam like water, no taste and way overpriced. After our complaint they took the drinks away, said sorry but didn't compensate us.
A really disappointing morning.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A beautiful restaurant tucked away from the Main Street of Higashiyama. It’s away from the tourists and has an AMAZING view of the city! The udon and soba was amazing and the tea as well. Staff are friendly and the restaurant is a peaceful oasis from the busy temple streets. It’s not too pricey either.
