★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 南流山男山神社は延喜七年(907年)四月二十八日醍醐天皇の御宇、当郡内で京都、男山相応の地に八幡宮を勧請せよとの勅を拝し本寺紫雲山極楽寺宝蔵院住職明印法印詔を奉じて京都男山石清水八幡宮より御神霊を御勧請申し上げ一郡一社の始めとして創祀されました。
また延喜七年五月には同住職が別当寺として本神社の西隣に宝善寺を建立された悠久千古の歴史に映える由緒ある社です。

Nanryuyama Otokoyama Shrine worshiped the Imperial Palace of Emperor Daigo on April 28, 907, in Kyoto, in the county, and to solicit Hachimangu in a place suitable for Otokoyama. It was founded as the beginning of one shrine in one county by soliciting the spirit of the gods from Kyoto Otokoyama Iwashimizu Hachimangu Shrine in honor of the Meishinhoinsho.
In May of the 7th year of Engi, the chief priest built Hozenji Temple on the west side of the main shrine as a Betsutoji temple.
