とても綺麗なお店で、
大きな駐車場有り
大型バスの駐車スペース有りです?
おたべ一つから、購入出來ます。
値段も手頃な物から、
御進物用に使える物迄有り、
こちらのお店ならではのお品もありました。
お店の隣にトイレ?設備した
ご休憩どころも有ります。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 11/20pm2頃、観光バス２台。入口で手指の消毒、検温とコロナ対策。求め易い価格のお土産がズラリ。高級食パン、ショーケースにはケーキが並ぶ。
Two sightseeing buses around 11/20 pm2. Disinfection of fingers, temperature measurement and corona measures at the entrance. There are a lot of affordable souvenirs. Cakes are lined up in high-class bread and showcases.

今は鬼滅コラボ商品が沢山あります。
工場見学が出来ます。
コロナの影響で、手作り体験は中止でした。
復活したら子供にやらせてあげたい。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 京都の有名なお土産お菓子「おたべ」本館です。たまたまお見かけして買い物出来ました。十条通りに面した大きな駐車場も多くあるので入りやすく、店内ではお菓子を作る職人技も拝見できます。
八ツ橋や京バウム等の売れ筋商品に加えて、最近流行りの鬼滅の刃コラボおたべをお土産に購入。
やはり本店ならではの清潔感ある伝統的な雰囲気は好感度高いです。

This is the main building of Kyoto's famous souvenir sweets "Otabe". I happened to see it and was able to shop. There are many large parking lots facing Jujo-dori, so it's easy to enter, and you can see the craftsmanship of making sweets inside the store.
In addition to popular products such as Yatsuhashi and Kyobaum, I bought the recently popular Kimetsu no Yaiba collaboration Otabe as a souvenir.
After all, the clean and traditional atmosphere unique to the main store is highly likable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I came with my school to Japan from the United States. We are all in year two of Japanese or above, myself being one of the yoingest. As such, we speak a fair amount of Japanese. Even so, we found it difficult to understand the lady leading the class. Thankfully, my teacher was able to translate the lady's words as we went, so we could follow her instructions during the class. There was also a set on instructions printed in English on our tables, which were very helpful. All in all, it was a great experience that my teacher is like to take part in with the next school trip to Japan. I enjoyed it, as well, and I will gladly say that the creations of this establishment are absolutely delicious.

You are taken on a brief tour of the factory (Japanese only) and then into a workshop room where you are given the opportunity to make 3 yatsuhashi (cinnamon, matcha, and purple yam) on your own! There are pictures and it is easy enough to follow along if you don't understand Japanese. Tip- book online ahead of time to reserve a spot
