★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 穴場的で意外と空いている。バス停が近くに有り、帰りのタクシーの手配に困らないです。時間が有れば近くにスーパー銭湯がありそこから送迎バスも出ている。

八大龍王神社の前の石燈籠には、元禄15年(1702年)の銘がある。
押熊八幡神社は、もともと八幡龍王神社が主神であったが、
元禄15 年(1702年)中山の八幡神社が管制して主客転倒して八大龍王神社が末社となった。
八大龍王社は、法華経にあげられている八つの龍王。
「龍神」として祀られている。龍は水の神様であり、
昇天するところから出世の神様ともいわれている。
明治維新まで境内に「福成寺」という宮寺があって、そこに安置されていた
「十一面観音像」は現在西方寺に町所有として寄託されている。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 氏子さんが毎朝欠かさず掃除をしており、地域の方の努力でかなり綺麗な状態に保たれています。
駐車場やトイレは完備されています。
本殿前の鳥居を潜ると神聖な空気感に変わります。
社務所はありますが、神主さんは在中しておらず、例祭等の行事の時だけ開放されます。
お札、御守りの取り扱いは普段はしていません。
正月期間は拝殿横で授与して頂けました。

地域を鎮守されている氏神様でありますが、かなり御神気の高い神社です。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 広い境内、みごとな社叢、階段一つ一つまで丁寧にお掃除されています。豊かな地域であるとともに、集落の氏子組織（組合）がしっかりできているのだと分かります。衰退して朽ち果てていく神社が多い中、こうした神社を拝むことができて幸せに思いました。
The large precincts, the magnificent shrines, and the stairs are carefully cleaned. You can see that it is a prosperous area and that the village's parishioner organization (union) is firmly established. While there are many shrines that are declining and decaying, I was happy to be able to worship these shrines.
